The International Istanbul Yarn Fair Concluded with Great Interest!
The International Istanbul Yarn Fair, one of the key gatherings of the textile sector, ended on a high note after attracting great interest and facilitating strong business connections. Held at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center between March 26-28, 2026, the fair once again demonstrated its prominent position as a platform shaping global trade in the sector by bringing together manufacturers, suppliers, and buyers under one roof for three days.The fair, which was organized by Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc., once again reinforced its position as Türkiye's only international specialized fair in the yarn sector, while offering industry professionals a high value-added trading environment thanks to both its strategical location and Türkiye's strong production capabilities.
Over 12,000 Visitors, Strong Interest from More Than 90 Countries
This year, the International Istanbul Yarn Fair hosted a total of 12,285 professionals from the sector, including 9,750 domestic and 2,535 international professionals. Visitors from 91 different countries once again demonstrated the international aspect and global appeal of the fair.
The event was accompanied by a total of 400 exhibitors, including 250 domestic exhibitors, offered the opportunity to showcase the production power, diversity, and innovative approach of the yarn sector from a broad perspective.
The fair showcased natural yarns such as cotton, wool, silk, and linen, as well as technical and fancy yarns, while a wide range of products including fibers and fiber products, textile chemicals, dyes, and production equipment were also presented to visitors.
Purchasing delegations from nearly 30 countries, primarily from the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia, and Europe, held one-on-one meetings with participating companies throughout the fair. With these meetings, companies had the opportunity to establish new export connections, strengthen their existing business relationships, and expand into different markets.
Sustainability and Innovation Took Center Stage
The topics of sustainable production approaches and innovative yarn technologies attracted great interest during the fair. Environmentally friendly production processes, recycled raw materials, and high value-added technical yarns emerged as key areas shedding light on the future of the sector.
The Woven Textile Design Exhibition and Fashion Show, along with interactive activity areas throughout the fair, offered visitors the opportunity to see firsthand how yarn is woven into fabric. These events transformed the fair from a mere commercial platform into an inspiring meeting point.
With preparations for the next meeting already underway, leading representatives of the sector have already marked their calendars for a reunion on March 24-26, 2027. The International Istanbul Yarn Fair will continue to lead the sector with innovative solutions, strong collaborations, and inspiring content in its next edition.
